El Capricho Anchovies

El Capricho presents its exquisite Cantabrian anchovies, hand-cleaned, smooth, meaty… a delicacy for the most discerning palates, guaranteed to be of the highest quality, 10 fillets bathed in Castillo de Canena extra virgin olive oil, which adds that touch of unrivalled flavour.

El Capricho follows three principles to guarantee the simple elegance of their anchovies. Firstly, they use only one species of anchovy: Engraulis encrasicholus. This is the most highly prized for its flavour. Secondly, to ensure a perfectly fresh product, the anchovies are caught in the Cantabrian Sea. Thirdly, only mature anchovies are used, ensuring the fish are uniform in size.

Adherence to these principles results in anchovies of unrivalled quality.
